| The WALC method of teaching languages relies on the results
of years of practical experience which its teachers collected
teaching in Armenian School located in Aanjar and Lebanon. |

| The WALC organization produces its own learn methods, specially
designed to complement the WALC method. It is this combination
of special WALC materials and special teaching techniques which
aims in creating for each individual an effective way to learn
to speak languages. |

| The primary aim of the WALC method is to enable the learner
to communicate as competently as possible in the mother language.
By "communicate" we mean the ability to speak and
understand the West Armenian language. |

| Of course, the WALC method also helps the learner to read
and write. The main emphasis, however, is on the spoken word.
It is only by speaking the language that the learner will acquire
oral competence. |
